6）用virtual windows xp mode application 做爲shell
有的時候，客戶的程序只支持xp ，但是安裝的確是windows 7 系統。因此，爲了折中，可以採用在windows 7裏面添加vpc for windows xp mode
然後，開機直接引導進入xp mode裏面設定好的shell。
具體操作步驟如下：
a）請先安裝vpc/ windows xp mode ,下載地址如下：http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/
b）安裝完成之後，會在 “start”菜單裏面多出”windows virtual pc\windows xp mode“.
c）進入VM,把客戶的應用application 安裝在xp mode裏面。
d）打開xp mode裏面的如下路徑：“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs” in the Windows Explorer 並創建一個關於客戶application 的shortcut ,然後關閉vpc.
e）這時候，你將在windows 7裏面看到”Window Virtual PC\Windows XP Mode Application” 這個客戶application的shortcut。如果你點擊此shorcut ,它將自動調用vpc進入到xp mode裏面並直接運行客戶application.
f）最後一步：在windows 7裏面替換掉shell,變成客戶的shell. 定位到上一步那個shortcut ,並記錄下這個shortcut的link ,類似如下： (starting with %SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe
%SystemRoot%\system32\VMCPropertyHandler.dll,LaunchVMSal "Windows XP Mode" …) 。打開註冊表，HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\
Winlogon\Shell 。 把shell修改成如上的Link。
