S9300系列交換機作爲華爲主要運營商級、企業級核心、匯聚交換機，廣泛應用在各行各業的不同環境下。但是作爲重要功能的MPLS ***、NQA和IPv6功能卻需要單獨申請許可，方能使用。 在不加載License的情況下，交換機基本功能可以正常使用。但是不支持MPLS ***、NQA和IPv6功能。
本文以9306爲案例。
一、如何申請license？
申請License需要提供ESN給華爲銷售人員或代理商。
於S9306的license文件中的ESN（Equipment Serial Number，設備序列號）是存儲在設備的背板backplane上。。
登陸設備 查看ESN號，用以申請相應的許可。許可文件將是以DAT爲擴展名的一個文本文件。

二、上傳license文件
1、可以在9306交換機上開啓FTP功能，將9306作爲FTP服務端來上傳文件。

在電腦終端上用FTP客戶端上傳許可文件。
2、也可以將9306作爲你的FTP客戶端從你的電腦上下載許可文件。 順帶提一句，備份和升級固件、配置均可以用這個方法。
比如我用3CDaemon來作爲常FTP服務端。配置許可所在目錄，建立帳號和密碼。電腦地址爲：192.168.1.8
上傳文件：

三、註冊激活license文件
在沒有激活license文件之前，查看一下license許可證情況，顯示沒有激活license。

這個錯誤提示是什麼 意思呢？原來咱們的9306支持主備兩個主控板。其實一個活動的主控板爲當前主控板，咱們上傳的license文件就在這個主控板上，另一塊爲備用主控板，它上面是不會有license文件呢，如果設備 主控板發生切換，而原來的備機上沒有license文件，就會有問題。因此需要同步這個license文件到備用主控板。
