今天在一臺dell機器安裝redhat 6.2 時 不管是選擇文本安裝還是圖形化安裝，在選 擇完後顯示器都 提示 超出頻率 無法顯示 然後就是無信號輸入 ~~~~~~~~~~

Issue
- When installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 with the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 video card, the system will appear to hang at a blank screen
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0
- NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 video card present in the system
Resolution
- Use the nomodeset boot line parameter when starting the installation.
- Please refer to section 7.1.3 of the Installation Guide for further information on boot options during installation.

nomodeset是針對Nvidia顯卡來說的，其他顯卡還有其他對應的參數。因爲最新的內核已經將圖形模式挪進了內核裏面，在X服務加載X驅動之前就可以指定硬件時鐘頻率並註冊顯卡，本意是想在一開始就提供一個高畫質的啓動界面，然後平滑過渡到登界面，不過杯具的是這在一些顯卡上並不能正確執行，於是就以黑屏告終。加上nomodeset參數後就會告知內核在X啓動前不要加載圖形模式而是以BIOS模式啓動。 如此說來其實加nomodeset參數並不需要刪除quiet和splash的
