How to delete ThinApp from database

To delete the ThinApp from the database.

To manually delete the ThinApp from the database:

1. Log into a View Connection server and connect to the ADAM instance. For more information, see Connecting to the View ADAM Database (2012377).

2. Create a query to locate the ThinApp object.
   
   

   1. Right-click View ADAM Database [localhost] and click New > Query.

   2. In Name field, type ThinApp Search

   3. Under Root of Search field, click Browse.

   4. Click Applications

   5. Click OK.

   6. Under the Query String field, type:
      
      (&(objectClass=pae-ThinAppApplication) (pae-displayname=Application Name))
      
      where Application Name is the name of the ThinApp as it appears in View Manager.
      
      

   7. Click OK.
      

3. Click ThinApp Search.

4. In the right-hand pane, double-click the resulting object.

5. Verify the pae-DisplayName attribute matches the ThinApp that is causing a problem.

6. Close the Attribute Editor by clicking Cancel.

7. Right-click the entry and click Delete.

8. In the View Administrator, navigate to the ThinApps section, and refresh the list if necessary. The ThinApp should not appear now
