  6.  安裝插件後能通過右鍵點擊 Struts config files 並選擇用 "Struts Console"打開圖形管理介面.

a.  詳細安裝步驟

Eclipse 3.0以上

1. 關閉elcipse
2. 解壓   struts-console-4.8.tar.gz  到桌面  
3. 複製剛才解壓出來的文件夾 struts-console-4.8 裡面的文件夾 com.jamesholmes.console.struts  到 elipse的安裝目錄下的plugins目錄.
4. 進入elipse目錄下的plugins/ com.jamesholmes.console.struts  重命名plugin.xml 為 plugin.xml.bake,   再重命名 plugin-3.0.xml 為   plugin.xml
5. 重啟 Eclipse.
   1. NOTE: If you are using Eclipse 3 under Linux/Unix, you must run it using JDK 1.5. This is necessary because Faces Console makes uses of a special library (SWT_AWT) for integrating SWT and Swing. The SWT_AWT library requires JDK 1.5 under Linux/Unix.

 

補充 

1.   eclipse 的啟動方法(讓eclipse可檢測plugin的更新情況)

    在dos窗口進入eclipse的安裝目錄 再運行   eclipse.exe  -clean

 

2.    檢查新plugin的安裝情況

在eclipse的菜單中選擇  Help --> about eclipse JDK  -->  Plugin Details  -->  在 plugin name 欄中能找到   struts console

 

3.  更改struts-config.xml 的編輯方法(相當於windows下的文件開啟方式)

    elipse 菜單   -->  Window  -->  Preferences  -->  General  -->  Editors  -->  File Associations  -->  在右邊的窗口中的File Type選擇 struts-config.xml ,  再在下方的Associated editros 中選擇   struts console   ,  再點擊選擇旁邊的  default
