6年開發者社區工作經歷，聊聊我眼中的社區、開源與商業

很重，ROI 很低，所以能做好開發者社區運營的同學，往往 PPT 什麼樣的企業真正需要開發者社區？"}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"在我看來，其實只有兩種類型的企業對開發者社區有強需求："}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null}},{"type":"blockquote","content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"一類是頭部雲廠商，另一類是開源企業。"}]}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null}},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"對前者而言，開發者社區更多是對雲產品潛在客戶的培育。我之前看到過一篇報道，裏面有數據顯示企業內的技術採購決策已經開始有自下而上的趨勢，如果雲廠商能建立良好的開發者羣衆基礎，對其雲服務的轉化的確有幫助。對於那些規模更小的雲廠商，做垂直的開源項目社區更合理，"},{"type":"text","marks":[{"type":"strong"}],"text":"比如青雲的 KubeSphere"},{"type":"text","text":"。對於那些剛起家但雄心勃勃的雲廠商，更多考慮的仍舊是頭部客戶的業務轉化而非開發者羣衆基礎，"},{"type":"text","marks":[{"type":"strong"}],"text":"比如字節跳動的火山引擎"},{"type":"text","text":"。"}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null}},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"對後者而言，開源和開發者社區本身就是先天性契合的最佳拍檔。開源企業的最終客戶、項目優化、迭代以及未來走向，無不直接與開發者社區形成關係。因此開源企業往往從一開始就有對於開發者社區的強需求，這個需求一方面是自建社區，另一方面也是在其他第三方社區中強化品牌認知、影響開發者心智。代表的開源企業不勝枚舉，"},{"type":"text","marks":[{"type":"strong"}],"text":"比如 Linux 社區的發展歷程。在 Linux 被開發出來之前，所有人都認爲，如果軟件複雜到操作系統這樣的程度，就必須要有一個精心協作的團隊，團隊要比較小，而且緊密互動。在 Linux 被開發出來之後，整個行業震驚於 Linux 的開發模式：僅通過互聯網合作，聚合大量的社區志願者，通過每週發佈，快速獲取海量用戶反饋，繼續協作開發、優化再發布。"}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null}},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"然後 開源到底是一門主義還是生意？"}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"indent":0,"number":0,"align":null,"origin":null},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"不管是開源運動，還是再之前的自由軟件運動，其實最開始都是一個由情懷驅動的故事。這個情懷源自於工程師的“原教旨主義”，相信技術、開放真的能夠改變世界。事實也的確如此，開源開放讓整個互聯網世界的邊界前所未有地擴展，社區的概念縮短了物理的概念，"},{"type":"text","marks":[{"type":"strong"}],"text":"\"Community HC InfoQ 寫過一篇文章叫「開源軟件盈利難，趁早賣身是正道」。當時我感嘆的是開源企業紛紛被收購，或者陷入資金危機，比如 Docker 被下載超過 800 Red Hat 來駁斥這個觀點，卻忘了只能舉出 Red Hat InfoQ Say No React 項目組成員說不能提前透露重大的改進或功能的原因——你無法滿足所有人，但你的一舉一動都會影響很多人。"}]},{"type":"heading","attrs":{"align":null,"level":3},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"3.2
